  6. Both parties must be single and free to marry;
  7. Both must plan to marry within 90 of arriving back in the US;

The application process for the K1 Visa is as follows:

  1. The petition is submitted to the USCIS;
  2. Once approved it is sent to the NVC (National Visa Center);
  3. Once the NVC approves it the documents are sent to the US Embassy;
  4. The US Embassy in Bangkok will notify the applicant of the interview.
